Reiki:  Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing technique that treats the whole animal including body, emotions, mind and spirit.  Reiki has been shown to reduce anxiety, speed healing, boost the immune system, and reduce stress.

EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique:  Also known as Tapping, EFT is a technique based on acupuncture points that releases emotional blockages in the body that may be manifesting as physical symptoms.  It is now believed that 80 -90% of health-related illnesses and diseases are caused by stress.  Animals suffer stress just as people do and their stress may be exhibited as behavioral problems, personality changes, or health problems.

Energy TestingEnergy Testing, also called Muscle Testing is a form of Kinesiology which uses body movement for informational purposes.  It is a method used by many holistic health professionals today.

Canine Massage:  Canine Massage is a relaxation technique using specific touch strokes resulting in a calmer, relaxed, and happier dog.  Many pet owners today are becoming aware of the benefits of this modality and are even learning it themselves in order to provide their pets a natural approach to achieving body balance.  Private and group classes offered.

Acupuncture(for people only)  Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that originated thousands of years ago in China.  It is based on the belief that all living things have a vital energy, qi, that flows along twelve meridians in the body.  If there is a disruption in this energy flow, disease results.  Acupuncture is accomplished by placing very fine needles into specific points along these meridians in order to release the energy disruption and restore energy flow.  Acupuncture is probably the most common of all alternative therapies.  There is a host of conditions helped by acupuncture including but not limited to arthritis, sinus, low back pain, headaches, tennis elbow, colds, and many others.

Bach Flower EssencesBach flower Essences were originally created by Dr. Edward Bach, a British bacteriologist and homeopath.  Dr. Bach studied the relationship between the emotional states of people and disease and discovered that flowers had healing properties and that flower essences could be very beneficial to the body.  Custom Bach Flower Essences are created by combining the original flower essence with spring water and are tailored specifically to the individual client's needs.  Animals also respond very well to flower essences which can have dramatic positive effects on a pet's behavior.
